Privacy Policy

Effective June 3, 2026 · PDF to Scan · Web Success

PDF to Scan (published on the App Store as GoScan, “the app”) is designed to keep your documents private. This policy explains what information the app handles and how. By using the app you agree to this policy.

Who we are

The app is published by Web Success. You can reach us at contact@websuccess.ma for any privacy question or request.

Your documents stay on your device

Documents you scan or import, the generated PDFs, and any text recognized from them are stored only on your device. We do not upload, transmit, collect, sell, or have any access to your documents. They are never sent to our servers — we don't operate any server that receives your content.

Information we do not collect

We do not require an account. We do not collect your name, email, contacts, location, or photos. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking, and we do not ask for App Tracking Transparency permission because we don't track you across apps or websites.

Subscriptions

If you purchase a subscription, the transaction is processed by Apple through your App Store account — we never see your card or payment details. To manage entitlements (knowing whether your subscription is active) we use RevenueCat, Inc. as our subscription provider. RevenueCat receives a randomly generated app user ID and your purchase receipt from the App Store; it does not receive your name or your documents. See RevenueCat's privacy policy at revenuecat.com/privacy and Apple's at apple.com/legal/privacy.

Camera and photo access

The app requests camera access only so you can scan documents, and photo-library access only when you choose to import an image. These are used on-device to create your PDFs and are not collected by us. You can change these permissions anytime in iOS Settings.

Data retention and deletion

Because your documents live only on your device, you are in control: delete a document in the app, or delete the app, to remove its data. Subscription records held by Apple and RevenueCat are governed by their respective policies.

Children's privacy

The app is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with a new effective date.
